It is led by Professor Yu Changlong, former Director of the Institute of Sports Medicine, Peking University Third Hospital, special expert of the State Central Health Administration and founding member of the Sports Medicine Committee, Chinese Medical Association. Our MDT consultation team includes physicians from Orthopedics, Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine and physical therapists, will work together to make diagnosis, evaluation and treatment plan for each patient. Joint Surgery

Our experienced joint surgeons specialize in joint replacement surgery. This surgery is also known as joint arthroplasty where diseased cartilage is removed and replaced with one or more implants. Fracture & Bone Diseases

The Fracture and Bone Diseases Department offers treatment for limb and periarticular fractures. These include shoulder, elbow, foot and ankle surgery, repair of peripheral nerve injuries and spinal cord injuries.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Based on the integration of traditional Chinese medicine and modern medical science and technology, our TCM specialists are competent in stimulating the meridians of the human body to clear the meridians, reconcile yin and yang, promote the qi and blood circulation and nourish the qi and blood, therefore achieving the goals of preventing and treating illnesses.

Through combining TCM with modern medicine, the specialists are capable of treating cervical spine diseases, frozen shoulder, herniation of lumbar intervertebral disc, knee arthritis, insomnia, constipation, menstrual disorder, menopause syndrome, diabetes, acne, bronchitis, etc. Herbal products and preparations are used as adjuvant treatment for osteoporosis, orthopedic postoperative rehabilitation and cancer. Meanwhile, the department also provides special traditional treatment, such as herbal patch in summer and herbal paste in winter to prevent and treat illnesses.

Pain Center

Pain Center adheres to an integrated philosophy of pain management with rehabilitation as its basic tenet. Using minimally invasive Traditional Chinese Medicine the multi-disciplinary team combines active soft tissue lysis treatment under image positioning with acupuncture, cutting needle, floating needle, therapeutic massage, rehabilitation physiotherapy, injection, nerve block and so on to treat all kinds of pain.

Diagnostic Imaging

Our Imaging Center is equipped with state-of-the–art equipment: GE Signa HDXT 3.0T Whole-Body MRI Machine, Optima 64-row (128-slice) Whole-Body Spiral CT Machine, GE Digital Radiography (USA), and Hologic Full-Body Osteometer (USA).

The image post-processing workstation allows for multi-directional imaging and orthogonal reconstruction (such as imaging of prosthesis implantation), cardiac coronary imaging, nerve fiber bundle imaging and total spine imaging along with MRCP(Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography), MRU(Magnetic Resonance Urography).

In addition to the regular full-body digital (DR) X-ray examination, full-body CT examination, MRI examination and bone density examination, the imaging center also offers a series of highly specialized and precise imaging services, including:

  • DR : full length image of the spine and lower limbs
  • CT: 3D post-processing technology of bone and joints of the whole body. Enhanced CT examination of head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis and spine
  • MRI : Cerebral vascular imaging, DWI(Diffusion Weighted Imaging), SWI (Susceptibility Weighted Imaging), MRCP (Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography), spinal cord imaging, joint cartilage multi-layer imaging, single hip MR scan. MRI enhancement exams for the head, abdomen, pelvic cavity, spine and lower limbs

Hyperbaric Medicine

Our Center is equipped with a large scale multi-person oxygen chamber. The chamber seats 14 patients and the treatment space is more than 4m³ (exceeding the national legal standard). The control system of the oxygen chamber is controlled by a computer system as well as an electric and manual operating system which ensures patient safety. The oxygen inhalation device used in the oxygen chamber has low respiratory resistance and is also suitable for hyperbaric oxygen therapy for the elderly and physically weak patients. The seats in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber are comfortable, and the angle of backrest and the length of the seat cushion can be adjusted according to different treatment needs.
